YOSELYN LUCERO
ARTIST STATEMENT
everyday life of my community. A central focus of
my work is my parents’ business: Nutrición Siempre
Saludable. This space is more than just a store: it is a
symbol of hard work, family, and connection within the community. By including the store in my photographs, I honor my parents’ dedication and the role their business plays in bringing people together. My goal is to share a perspective of the Bronx while honoring my roots and the people who have shaped me.
