The act of reminiscing drives my photography. I like to quickly and candidly capture the moment to feel a specific memory. I mostly take portraits when I'm around my friends and family in fear of forgetting a memory. Nature is also a big part of what I photograph. I like the calm vibe you get when looking at it. I want to share its calming and alluring beauty with viewers. I take the majority of my photos in Central Park, and depending on what I want to emphasize, switch between monochrome or color. I am inspired by Gia Sergovich’s practice and Elliot Porter's style of photography. I aspire to focus more on shadows and lighting in the future and connect it to nature shots or still lifes.
