Mya McCrary
Creating a photograph is my decision: what to hold onto, what to let fade, what to invite others to see, and what deserves to matter, even if everything else is out of my control. Photography allows me to pause the noise and speed of New York and focus on the power of softness and stillness. I make photographs intuitively to capture emotion and explore the space between presence and memory.
