Kevin Minchala

My world, from Washington Heights to Times Square, is something everyone should experience. I love capturing a sense of peace and what the city looks like when you enjoy how it unfolds, as well as when everything is going on in various neighborhoods.  In my photographs, I try to reflect that by taking differently angled shots of places. I also try to have my childhood hero, Spider-Man, or my dog become parts of what I want to show. Sometimes he will end up in one of the photographs.

I have been living in New York City for about eighteen years and I love to take pictures of the city. I mostly document good landscapes or the vibe of being in my hometown. The city of New York is just a part of my blood and going from Washington Heights to Time Square is something that everyone must experience. By that, I mean we have smaller places where we can see people in the community around where we live, to tall buildings and people from all the five boroughs. That is why taking photos here is part of my traits and I hope to continue doing it.
