Jasmine Pace

Photography has been a part of my life since childhood—my father introduced me to cameras, and I’ve carried that love ever since. In my photographs, I use movement, light, and color to express presence and emotion.

Photographers Latoya Ruby Frazier and Kwame Brathwaite inspire me with their ability to capture vulnerability and Black beauty—Brathwaite though color and light, and Frazier through the quiet strength of black and white photography.
