I photograph things I know won’t last forever—from family to my neighborhood, I know everything isn’t meant to last. Photography offers me an opportunity to capture a moment that can’t be replicated. I’m inspired by my grandpa’s old photo books, and I enjoy looking at my family’s history through images and stories. I seek human connection and  to tell stories retrospectively. My photographs are human, containing raw and childlike characteristics. I look for no serious or overt meaning in my images. Take it for what it’s worth. It’s not my photo, it’s yours. When it comes to people, I prefer shooting in color, making everything pop with an authentic flare. If I’m shooting landscapes or street photography, I prefer black-and-white.
