ARTIST STATEMENT
Through photography, I want to show viewers how I see the world. Before I take a photo, I usually think of a subject or a type of photograph I want to make. Then I arrange the scenes that I’ve imagined and take photos. I make images of quiet, tranquil scenes and people’s expressions. I am influenced by photographers Rinko Kawauchi and Genesis Baez. In my photos, I want to capture the places where I am most at peace and the people I love.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
