In my work, I like to capture my neighborhood and the scenery of everyday life such as people, buildings, street signs, and nature. Photographing my neighborhood is important because I want to capture an authentic view of the community without posing or framing a picture in a particular way. With this, the viewer can experience that environment as if they are there. William Klein influences my work, as he is able to give a representation of urban settings and environments through his photography. In my work, I try to provide the viewer with an accurate depiction of how I experience and capture the essence of New York City at its best.
