I’m an artist of many mediums. Digital, traditional, you name it. But, in order to create most pieces you’d need a reference photo. The Expanding The Walls program executed exactly what its name says: photography “expanded” the horizons of how beautiful the world can be. How ISO can take a beautiful landscape and brighten it for a suitably vivid, happy image. Or shutter speeds can capture the fastest objects. I take all my photos in manual mode. I adjust the settings I've been provided until it matches the mood and brightness of my subject. Every photo I take must have a story to accentuate the importance of each click. The class I enjoyed the most was the lighting class—the way you can create an entirely different mood by the angle and color of your lighting choice sticks out to me, especially when I experiment with three-point lighting.
